Those damned antibiotics are kick ass. SWMBO told be they would make me sick and now she is gloating. (tole you so, tole you so). I now know not to take them on an empty stomach.
It's only been about 24 hours and the swelling and the pain have noticeable been reduced. I think I'll keep taking the pills and just deal with the "mild stomach upset" (their words).

I hope I didn't make this sound easy because it wasn't. I know now that it will be a struggle for the rest of my life. I experienced that with cigarettes. I had to make a conscience effort to not smoke until it became a habit not to. That was 44 years ago but my brain every now and them still says just one won't hurt.
My mantra was/is "Get thee behind me Satan". I now use it on donuts.
